Since this is a government sponsored and paid for apartment complex, the Colorado firearm preemption law trumps their liberal policy.

Reminds me of 1968 after the murder of Bobby Kennedy and the anti-gun hysteria that followed.I clearly remember a photo in a magazine screeching for gun control. It showed a close-up of a man in a business suit with the crosshairs of a scope on the base of his neck. The cut line screamed (bold caps) "WRITE YOUR SENATOR, WHILE YOU STILL HAVE ONE!". That's when I knew we were in for a tough battle.
I also remember an anti-gun telethon with Robert Lansing (12 O'clock High) telling one phone bank operator, "Tell 'em we don't want to take their guns, just register them." and I thought "How stupid do they think we are?". They're still at it.

I thought one of those new CO gun laws had a provision nobody noticed for a while there.
Guess not.

Is Castle Rock Apartments a government entity or is it private?

Or maybe it did cross those minds. Maybe it was the reason for the policy in the first place. The Sullivan Law in New York stems from such principles.

(It's no coincidence that some "conservatives" echo the hard left.)
