The Chicago Teachers Union has announced that it will send a bus to the 50th Anniversary March on Washington, a full week of events to be hosted by the four children of Martin Luther King, Jr. and several organizations including Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.
The march will celebrate The Great March on Washington, which took place 50 years ago in the summer of 1963 and culminated with King’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech. It set to occur Aug. 21 through Aug. 28.
The first day of school for students in Chicago Public Schools is Monday, August 26. However, Aug. 23 is scheduled as an official Teacher Institute Day. Any teacher taking the bus to the march will be absent that day.

A mass email sent out to the Chicago entire Teachers Union’s mailing list urges union members to attend the march to protest foreclosures, the Second City’s recent rash of school closings and, of course, the verdict in favor of George Zimmerman, a Hispanic man who shot a black teenager during an altercation.

While the march of time having inexorably transformed society, the black community, its leadership, remains mired in anachronistic self-delusion, not evolving one iota in the manner in which they seek to overcome the daunting problems they face.
They have turned scapegoating into an art form, a single one-word mantra, "Racism", that stretches back over one hundred fifty years, an all purpose, one size fits all pretext in which to exonerate themselves from any personal, societal responsibility, the equivalent of "the dog ate my homework", to them is a magic spell as panacea for all that ails their sorry society.
In place of imbuing future generations with the means in which to deal with life's daunting challenges with realism, pragmatism, say, to prevent the innumerable multitude of Trayvon Martins that occur on any given day, they close down all schools, doing what they do best in wasted time,energy, resources as the article says, for a "full" week, to rabble-rouse, rant and rave, demanding more, more, much more of what they've already extorted from society.
Do you see any white group, any other group coming down on Washington to demand the cessation of home foreclosures?
As the old saying goes, the fish stinks from the head, be it in the likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et al, as well our current so-called illegitimate government.
I think they should enshrine Trayvon’s burglary tools, and skittles.
NOWHERE is there a greater concentration of mental midgets than at these parasite events.

But little problems like that rank fairly low on their list of priorities. After all, their people dictate election outcomes, so they think they should be able to dictate the outcomes of jury trials as well.
I wonder what the taxpayers will be paying for this little junket. Or maybe one of obamas’ fake government entities is picking up the tab.

Has ANYONE tried and/or succeeded in getting close to one of St.Trayvon’s teachers or school administrators? I may be going out on a limb here, but I strongly suspect he’s not the kid any sane teacher would want in his/her classroom.

IIRC there wasn’t any media on Trayvon’s other friends or classmates from Miami Gardens. The only one was Rachel Jentel. They would have nothing to fear if they towed the party line and painted him in the MSM’s light as an angel. The lack of that to me is telling.
