Yes, they have clearly demonstrated that they cannot balance a budget, they cannot manage a simple Ponzi scheme like Social Security, they cannot responsibly manage health care through Medicaid and Medicare, they cannot honestly collect taxes, they cannot protect our borders, they cannot effectively run [pick your favorite social program], and most importantly, they cannot follow the simplest rules laid out in the Constitution of the United States of America. Actually, the only things they can do consistently well is f**k up anything and everything they touch.

From what I’ve read, the “retirement bond” means they take your money from your retirement account and in return give you a worthless bond and monthly payments (like SS).

How else, besides printing money, will the fed bail out all the failing cities and continue their entitlement spending spree? This has been in the works by the dems since the end of GWB’s term. I remember finding an article about it years ago.

There’s trillions just sitting there for the taking. And yes, why should you be allowed to have retirement money when the poor couldn’t afford to save for their own 401k? It’s only fair to redistribute it so everyone gets their fair share. /do I need the sarcasm tag??

I believe Ann talks about options - like getting out of mutual funds and into other types of retirement accounts - not sure - been awhile since I watched it - I ended taking a modest hit after taxes - depends on how you file (ie small business etc) probably should talk to a CPA to learn more about what the options are....good luck...

I hardly think Rep. Kline is an establishment Republican, and he is chairman. No legislation can even be brought up in committee without his say-so. Really. There is so much else to be worried about than this bill that was dead on arrival. The sponsors are thieves.

I've already spoken to a CPA, in December BEFORE the 1st of January, 2013, in order to have the transaction done on 2012 taxes.

Yeah, I remember thinking before I retired out of the military, that "At least I'll have FREE medical and dental care for life".
Boy was I wrong.
It only took AN ACT OF CONGRESS to break that promise made to all military retirees, years ago.
An they don't believe we have the "know how" and "the ability" to take them out?
They'd better think again!
