Putin is a canny and intelligent political operator who senses weakness in Obama.
Obama’s attack on Putin yesterday, from thousands of miles away, no doubt reinforces that perception. It is doubtful Obama would insult Putin to his face.
I don’t understand the personal attacks. It’s simply business. Putin has a duty to his country, not Washington, Democrats, the UN or anyone else. Why get offended when he pursues his country’s national interest ?

In all fairness, Putin cares about Russia, and its interests. He owes Obama nothing, nor does he owe the US government anything. If he deals with us, it is with a quid pro quo. He gives only when he gets.
While Snowden is an embarrassment to the US government, the *reason* he is an embarrassment is because of the US government’s obnoxious behavior to other nations and their citizens.
Putin has no reason to save the US government from embarrassment for its bad behavior. In fact, he is on the side cheering the embarrassment and hoping the US takes some lumps over it.
Obama is dissing the US and you aren’t don’t jack about it with your committee.

I see Putin giving the current administration all the respect they’re due.
Ditto.The Russian’s,Chinese,The all see obama as a weakling.Hell’we American’s mostly see him as he is.A weakling.
