Russia Makes a Fool Out of Obama, Over and Over
American Thinker ^ | August 12, 2013 | Kim Zigfeld

The worst has finally happened. It took much longer than expected -- nearly two thousand days -- but Barack Obama's foreign policy has finally collapsed, leaving Americans to gape slack-jawed at the smoking ruins. Obama has undermined American influence and honor in ways that will be very difficult to repair.

Writing in the Moscow Times, Russian attorney Vladimir Berezansky plays the funeral dirge. He calls Russia's granting of asylum to Edward Snowden a "Suez moment." By this he means that China and Russia have effectively burst the bubble of American power in the same way that the U.S. burst the bubble of French and British power during the Suez crisis. The latter two nations were never the same afterwards, and, Berezansky argues, neither will the USA be after Snowden. Watching Obama's helplessness as these two malignant dictatorships thumb their noses at America reminds one of nothing so much as the Iran hostage crisis and the Afghanistan invasion, where Jimmy Carter's presidency ran aground.

The unexamined explanation is 0bama as manchurian. His actions are premeditated by the puppeteer master. He is achieving precisely what his controllers desire.

Yeah, but just because she was the head of foreign policy , foreign affairs , foreign relations and embassies doesn’t mean she knew anything about what was happening or is in any way responsible for anything or anyone under her while she was in office.

: )

Yeah, and at this point what difference does it make?

Which will usher in another 12 - 16 year term of republican rule...

Oh yeah.

Give it back to the responsible adults after the commie pinko fags have turned the place into a seedy underworld hotel and stolen everything.

With the current crop of "Republicans", that statement scares the crap out of me.

What makes you think that the current crop of republicans will be ay different or do any better? They will only be a slower death. Now if you meant conservative republicans I would agree.

Yeah, maybe. It seems to me that it’s more like he’s pretty seriously unintelligent. Of course, that doesn’t preclude your being correct as well.

Bring back US manufacturing. We need to provide American jobs.

Who needs to provide? What is needed is a considerably smaller government with entities like the EPA and IRS wiped out. Jobs will NOT return until a rather large leash is placed on government and business is allowed to actually conduct business.

The weird thing is that Obama doesn’t even seem to notice. He’s just as impressed with himself as he ever was.

..As are his adoring supporters. Of course, half of Americans have no clue what the whole Snowden issue is. That's an even weirder thing.

A country can rebuild its economy and its military but patriotism and honor once lost are very difficult to ever regain.

Now who was Secretary of State during the 2000 days that all this was happening?

Now THAT would probably bring some interesting responses from "voters on the street."

1. "What's a Secretary of State?"

2. "Republicans."

3. "I don't care who it was. It's all Bush's fault."

4. "Whatchoo talkin' about? Where mah gubmint munny?"

5. "U-r-r-r-r-p-p-p.... Huh?"

My guess is, the humiliation will be complete when Canada turns that pipeline to it’s west coast in order to ship it to China.

Our enemies no longer fear us. They laugh and mock us.

I agree 0 scores in the double digits on intelligence charts. He is, however, a True Believer of the fellow traveller sort. He knows his days are numbered by those who put him in position. His recreational behavior attests to his inability to take his position seriously. 0 is the Lord of the Flies redux.

Every president in my lifetime and even before had at least one or two foreign leaders that they had a special relationship with. Leaving aside Hussein bowing to the Saudi King and fist bumping with Hugo Chavez (who later dissed him) is there a foreign leader out there who would give this guy the time of day?

That’s a remarkable state of affairs.

I LOVE it! Putin is the only one in the unique position of having everything to gain and very little to lose by humiliating boy zer0. I have cheered Putin from the very beginning on this NSA/Snowden/asylum flap. Putin is showing Obama in no uncertain terms he's not dealing with house-trained republican eunuchs on this issue.

His days as President are numbered ... but then he’ll get to continue living high and basking in adulation as a “statesman” of the Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton sort. He can even announce that his truth is that he’s a gay American, and ditch Michelle and the other impediments to his full enjoyment of life.

Sometimes the bad guys seem to win, but God is not mocked.
