I am waiting for a Norm Stamper comment (from some tree house on Bainbridge) about this incident...
Even have pictures of the criminal. Looks Amish to me, but what do I know (/sarcasm). He is a convicted criminal, so he should not have been in possession of a firearm.
He’s close. They were doing CPR on him as they wheeled him to the ambulance. He may already have died and we just haven’t heard about it yet.
Thankfully he had lousy aim and the driver will be okay.
I’m on a bus, and can’t post the pic of the deceased gunman. Can you go pick it up from the seattle times, please?
He’s a son of 0bama’s.

“Suspected gunman dies after Seattle bus shooting”

SEATTLE
SNIPPET: “Two did. The third passenger paced back and forth, then hit the driver and shot him twice before running away, acting Seattle Police Chief Jim Pugel said.”
SNIPPET: “Two officers and several passengers on the second bus suffered minor injuries, including a woman who was bruised while leaving the vehicle.”
Looks like .40 cal.
Two buses involved?
I’ll have to make a note of that. After shooting a city bus driver, don’t use another city bus as your getaway.

“Metro bus shooter repeatedly violated states version of parole”
By Amy Clancy
Seattle
SNIPPET: “Duckworth had multiple criminal convictions, mostly for drugs and assault. He also had a history of failing to report, using drugs, tampering with his drug tests, and more, all while on DOC supervision. One Community Corrections officer called him a “chronic violator” who “failed to make himself available for supervision on numerous occasions,” and because of it, Duckworth “failed to address both his chemical dependency and mental health issues.”
Each of the 11 times Duckworth violated supervision he was sent back to jail for short stays.”
failed to address both his chemical dependency and mental health issues.
As failed as the old mental institutions were, today’s alternative of putting them out on the street is worse. Hope that the bus driver will fully recover.
Oh, and a note to self. That seemingly harmless nutcase muttering to himself may not be all that harmless.
