The father of one of three Florida teens charged in a vicious school bus attack said his son is “sorry” for taking part in the July beating that made national headlines.

As the trio headed to court on Tuesday, Julian McKnight said his son Julian, 15, has also suffered in the aftermath of the July 9 attack on a Pinellas County school bus after it left Lealman Intermediate School in the St. Petersburg-area community of Gulfport.

“All I can say is he’s had his consequences already, you know?” McKnight said. “We’re sorry what happened to the victim, but that’s just the way it is. My son ain’t never been no bad person, he just got mixed [up] with bad people, that’s all … He’s sorry.”

He’s sorry he didn’t get away with it.
Sorry he got caught.
Sorry he’s in trouble.
Feeling sorry for himself.
Sorry he is being held accountable for his actions.

Sorry for the cracker?
No way.

It’s the kind of apology offered by someone who thinks his son is NOT to blame because he was with other kids... (kids the boy CHOOSE for friends)... The reason the kids sucks is because his father’s ‘values’ for lack of a better word are sick.

"I'm sorry too, Dmitri...I'm very sorry...All right, you're sorrier than I am, but I am sorry as well. I am as sorry as you are, Dmitri. Don't say that you are more sorry than I am, because I am just as capable of being sorry as you are. So we're both sorry. All right? All right."

Yes he is one lucky Dad. If it had been my son we’d be in Trayvon mode right now, gaurenteed.

My son ain’t never been no bad person...

Then what the hell is he doing in a drop-out prevention school? I don't think that kind of learning environment attracts upright citizens.

“We’re sorry what happened to the victim, but that’s just the way it is.”

Examine this sentence closely. WE, meaning, it has some element of “spread the blame”; AND, the “what happened to the victim” part seems to imply that it was somehow an act of God and/or fate, like a tidal wave, earthquake, meteor strike, and so on.

"My son ain’t never been no bad person"

Except for the drug selling and merciless beating part, which is totally excusable.

All these occasionally caught perpetrators are good kids according to their whole community. ( BARF! )

Sorry sir, but he hasn't had his consequences yet.
His fake remorse after the fact doesn't cut it when the charge is Aggravated Assault and Battery.

How about Gang activity and Drug dealing? He sorry about that too?

You gonna play gangsta with the big dawgs, be ready to be bit...

Let us pause for a moment and ponder: This is the thug’s sperm-donor saying the thug is “sorry.” This isn’t even from the thug’s own mouth, which I would greet with a healthy amount of skepticism anyway.

(Is this the thug who’s ass we got to see every time the video was played?)

“I doubt he’s genuinely sorry.”

He’s sorry all right and his daddys sorry too. Sorry it became a problem for them.

>”Paula Deen said she was sorry. It didn’t work”<

To mirror Jesse Jackson’s remarks on the subject, I am ashamed to say that when I’m walking down the Street and I look over my shoulder, I find myself relieved that I’m being followed by anyone besides Paula Deen.

“We’re sorry what happened to the victim,” ... “All I can say is he’s had his consequences already, you know?”

Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/08/13/father-florida-school-bus-beating-attack-says-son-is-sorry/#ixzz2brsfcV2b

What? As if the injuries just “happened” to him in some sort of passive way?. Hey doofus, the victim didn’t have a freak accident, your thug son made a decision, stepped up to the plate, and took action and participated in his beating.

How about “We’re sorry that we didn’t teach our son better, now he’s going to have to deal with the consequences of his actions.”

And “he’s had his consequences already, you know?”

This make is sound as if he thinks his son has been fully punished and doesn’t need any further correction. He is also trying to make his son look like a victim if any further punishment takes place. He’s already paid for what he did! Why persecute him futher (unless you are just doing it because he is black)!

Good grief, if he is telling this kind of stuff to his son, this man is teaching the boy that since he has already had “his consequences”, he has already paid for what he did. What does this tell the boy? ... What I did must not be so bad since I have already “had my consequences,” and because I have already paid for what I did all this stuff going on in court is unjust and they are just after me for no good reason ... I am a victim!

What a sorry POS for a “father.” Teach your kid that “being sorry” includes a lot more than just words, and breaking laws will land you in the judicial system.

Throughout my years, I’ve known a handful of kids that got into trouble and their parents excused it by saying “they’re really good, they were just hanging out with the wrong crowd.” I’ve also known a few that no matter what they did, their parents took up for them and blamed it on someone else. NONE of the kids grew up to be stable, productive, happy adults. NONE.

"My son ain’t never been no bad person"

Relative to all the other kids in this neighborhood, this kid is probably about average in terms of his behavior. They're all thugs.

This father and the kids all live in an alternative reality.

Obama understands it and so does Holder, Al Sharpton, Jesse, and even Oprah. At the center of their universe is the element of RACE.

Race is as important to them as air and water are to the rest of the Earth's living creatures. Race defines their very existence.

This will not turn out well.

Exactly...like Obama saying “mistakes were made” when referring to Benghazi.

Mistake were made, but we’re not going to attach those mistakes to anyone...no accountability.

Let’s just move on...have to put this behind us...heads never roll...
