If the victim was allowed to have been armed, then his son might have learned what the ‘stand your ground’ law really means.

As do I, of course - particularly when the weapons could be taken from them, as undoubtedly would have happened in this case.

The real point was that the kids/thugs doing this were citing Trayvon as an excuse... but against a helpless, defenseless victim as opposed to the victim of Martin's attack. It was was a classic bully attack - except there were three bullies.
