It’s been a while since God was managing things in active mode. He gave His son, which really ought to be good enough.
Well, that did happen AFTER Jesus ascended and the Holy Spirit was poured out on the church.
It’d be interesting to see how things would be if God was still working in THAT kind of active mode.
But since this is the end times, there are things that are going to have to happen to set the stage for the Lord’s return. We are the generation which is going to have the privilege of seeing that.

I was just about to have my lunch. I believe I’ll wait a bit till my nausea goes away. Way, way beyond disturbing.

I had a close brush with death last fall from a MRSA infection and there’s nothing like it to change one’s perspective on living and dying.
I am not looking forward to what’s coming either. I do often like my uneventful, boring existence.
But for some reason, God has determined that I am to live here and now and it’s up to me to do the best with it that I can. I can at least try to take as many with me as possible.

b-r-q - is lightning or a flash of lightning; while b-r-k is the root for to kneel or to bless. An argument could surely be made that his name stems from the root for blessing.
B-m-h is the root for - a high place; as a mountain or a place of worship.
I just looked through Brown-Driver & Briggs.
Someone that could both speak modern Hebrew and have a knowledge of ancient Hebrew and all the idiomatic possibilities could provide some more insight I would think.
