In the early morning hours of Aug. 12, police in Memphis arrested Dondre Johnson, 19, Mario Patterson, 23, and Jerrica Norfleet, 23, only minutes earlier, reportedly shot and killed a 27-year-old man on South Main Street.
The victim, David Santucci, was walking home after attending a birthday party at a bar on Beale Street, when the suspects pulled their vehicle alongside him.

Just another day in America. Black thugs kill a working white guy and, hey, it was “just a robbery gone wrong”, nothing to see here.
That ‘woman’ (pictured in the article) is one of the most manly, stern women I’ve ever seen.
This crime doesn’t fit the narrative, therefor this is not a teachable moment and there is no need for a national discussion, nor does the victim resemble Obama’s son if he had a son. Let’s move on. (sarc)

Been to Beale Street once. OK, but over hyped.
I’ll be fine if I never set foot in Memphis again. It’s not a safe place.
My daughter has traveled alone as a young woman through cities and countries around the world & she (being with me at that visit to Beale Street) said Memphis was the only city she ever felt genuinely unsafe in. Which is all the reason I need to avoid it.
I’m talking in comparison to Ulaanbaatar, Hanoi, Bangkok, NY, Seoul.
This is the typical outcome when vunnables have no men in their house growing up and the “system” refuses to hold them accountable and teaches them they are victims of greedy white peoples
It’s really unfortunate that it’s not generally safe to visit many American cities. That’s killing a lot of jobs and impoverishing people.
