Brooks Macquarrie does not remember much about the black mob violence that almost killed him one month ago.
Macquarrie was test driving a motor scooter for a shop where he worked as a mechanic. A group of black people approached him as he waited at a downtown New Haven stop light.
When he woke up in the hospital, surrounded by his five children, police thought he might have been hit by a car: Broken ribs. Twenty-one stitches. Fractured eye socket. Broken nose. Head injuries. And lots and lots of blood all over the street.
According to the New Haven Register:
“For his part, MacQuarrie remembers a young man on a bicycle coming at him with an ‘angry look’ in his eye, according to a coworker. He remembers trying to avoid eye contact with the person. He remembers getting hit on the back of the head. After that, he remembers nothing of the incident. “
Macquarrie has not yet returned to work.
Some police still think it might have been a car accident. But they are about the only ones left who do. Aside from local newspaper editors.
But people who work with Macquarrie know differently: “Managers totally discount that police theory that Brooks Macquerrie might have been hit by a car,” says WTNH news. “They say that because there was no damage done to the scooter he was riding.”

Though NJ is technically a carry state, just try to get a carry permit. Impossible. I wonder how many New Jerseyans are packing without permits.
I was in New Haven about a week ago. If I had known about this story, I might not have stopped in New Haven. I made a stop at the science center there, which was a great science center. Very beautiful building with a great view of the river. The city is a filthy and desolate place, but it appears that there is a regeneration happening there, in some pockets. It could really be a beautiful city. It looks like the citizens had better get rid of the scum, or the scum will destroy what they are trying to build.

And yes, my best guess is that there are a few "Ladies" among them, as there are among almost any group of women.
Both you and I were designated "Officers & Gentlemen", by an act of Congress. Considering the population of Congress both now & then, I'm not sure that the designation was worth anything.
However, we both know that among our peers there were some true gentlemen. A few scoundrels & reprobates, too. Then there was that larger group which needed leadership before deciding whether to be gentlemen or scoundrels.
The same holds true in "da 'hood". There are some really good black grandmothers out there who just need encouragement and support while they "crack a few heads" of the numbskulls in the neighborhood.

I grew up in the 80’s as a poor black kid in the ghetto and we never did this kind of stuff, what’s going on with these kids today? What the hell are they so angry about?

Just because we can’t carry handguns doesn’t mean we can’t carry pepper spray (in NYC even that is illegal); at home those who don’t have a long-arm keep a bat or a hocket stick by the door. We are so segregated here they stand out like sore thumbs whenever they cross the frontier; they quickly have to “give account” to police, and nobody lets their guard down around them. While we have a few passing through, we have no attacks like these because everybody knows better.

I am missing how it is the victims fault for stopping at a freaking traffic light. That is what I am missing as I was posting to the person I was replying to. Do you not understand how to follow what a person is replying to?

It is that.1% that gets you. The day that I am required to avoid eye contact with either a two or four legged predator is the day I blow my brains out. Because it means that I have lived in this politically correct world too long.

Lived in CT close by New Haven for many years, Yale University is practically surrounded by bad areas. Students stay on campus or very close to it for good reason, assaults on students by Holder’s children are common. One instance I recall, some punk 17 year old with a knife assaulted and killed a Yale student just off campus in downtown NH.
What a travesty, a young Yale student with a world of potential ahead murdered in cold blood by a loser punk black kid. By the way ... this remained a local story it didn’t even make the nearby New York media, print or otherwise. Yale University is very sensitive about its image, I’m sure that’s one reason this murder never went beyond the local media.
I don’t think we really need to berate three women who came to his aid.
Where and when will it end should have been your next question. I will address that one for you now. It will end when the good decent Whites and Blacks say, "I am tired of living like an animal. I am sick and tired of living in fear inside my house and I am tired of being afraid to go outside my house." This also means that the Blacks will have to kick the race pimps such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson from their communities. Race pimps who make a good living from their misery. The dope dealers, and other undesireables ,run them out. Do not allow such slogans as "No snitching or snitches get stitches". Burn up the police switchboard reporting dope dealers, driveby shooters, gang activity, prostitution, and other criminal acts. Make it too hot and unprofitable for criminals to operate in your community.
The Whites are going to get rid of the White guilt. Run the Self hating White Liberal out. Grow a backbone Stand up to the bully.
Now comes the time for the truth. I very, very, very seriously doubt that either group will do what it takes. It is much easier to wallow in self pity and cry about how cruel the World is to me. But, it is what it is. '
