Nope, I don’t think Islam is peaceful. We agree extremism needs to be fought. That’s totally different from a discussion about what a man said on TV.
Actually, Scots are well known for their enlightened outlook, from men like David Hume and Adam Smith to the Scottish Enlightenment. And Scots today are less parochial than the English. More open to Europe and the world.

You should understand that your stated position is not a ringing endorsement of Scotland on this forum.
The English stand vis a vie the EU is very well admired here. And Scotland does seem to be farther in the Socialist political camp...
