Yes, Ted Cruz is Constitutionally eligible to be President - according to the top authorities of the early United States who knew exactly what the Founding Fathers meant by "natural born citizen." And all the statements that he isn't need to stop.

"It is not necessary that a man should be born in this country, to be 'a natural born citizen.' It is only requisite that he should be a citizen by birth, and that is the case with all the children of citizens who have ever resided in this country, though born in a foreign country."

- James Bayard, A Brief Exposition of the Constitution of the United States (1833)

Bayard's exposition of the Constitution was read and approved by the Great Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Marshall, by the legendary Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, and by the famous Chancellor James Kent, as well as other legal experts of the early United States.

Not one single person ever said he was wrong about his understanding of what "natural born citizen" meant.

Thanks.

For most of my life, I was under the impression that it meant “citizen at birth”—i.e., natural means “not naturalIZED.”

Bayard supports that understanding of the term.

If Soetoro WAS born in Hawaii, he would be a citizen at birth. If he was born outside the U.S., he never was and is not now a citizen, because under the law at the time his mother could not transmit citizenship by giving birth.

The real lie is that we need to depend upon "constitutional lawyers" in the first place.
We hold these truths to be self evident.
A Government of the people, by the people, for the people, doesn't mention how it is that nobody can understand it except a supreme court ruling by vote between political inflated ego justices.
It is up to us. The people. Be we informed, or be we not. We make these decisions. What were the framers thinking when they stipulated more than just citizenship for the President?
Avoiding conflicted loyalties seems pretty obvious. It might help explain a lot of the troubles we're currently in and the ones lurking just beyond our view.
