What is that I see? Is it? Could it be? Is it a set of balls on a Republican politician? Better take a pic!!
:)
If only Congrees had the stones of the FL legislature ... the WH clown is a cancer.
This stand your ground business is a good example of the big lie technique used by fascists and Alinskyites.
Tell a lie often enough, and people believe it.
The stand your ground law had nothing to do with the Trayvon Martin case. Yet the liberals glommed onto stand your ground laws as a result of the case.
Stevie Wonder fans in Florida won’t see him in Florida anytime soon.
Good. Stevie Wonder can stay out. Bring on Ted Nugent.
Wasn't that Jesse Jackson's call for a boycott? I heard the crime rate has dropped already......
LLS
Yes. He certainly makes everyone happy boycotting Fla.. Nobody wants to see him down here.
The Fla. legislature voted down Rick Scotts plan to expand medicaid here too, which would have eventually bankrupted the state.
This should provide the basis for evicting the protesters from the Capitol building.
Wow — what will the Capitol protesters do now facing another weekend of no hot pizza deliveries???
Would love to surround Stevie Wonder with `adoring fans’ shouting things like
“Welcome to Florida, Stevie!”
“Isn’t the weather here in Miami wonderful!?”
“We knew you’d change your mind!”
“How ‘bout them Seminoles?”
“Come to Disney World, Stevie, you can be there in ten minutes!”
We can’t sit still, however, because that is just a defensive line for them to attack over and over again. Instead we have to keep advancing gun liberty further, to keep the gun controllers on the defensive.
Florida is like Texas, in forbidding open carry. This needs to change. Likewise, unlike Arizona, it still requires licenses. To get rid of licenses at all is a reasonable goal, because though liberals tout that AZ is 11th among states in “gun homicides”, 71% of those “homicides” are in fact suicides. If you eliminate suicide from the statistics, Arizona’s gun crime statistics *dropped* twice as much as the rest of the country. It is near dead last.
A 38% decline in violent gun crime. With *no* gun licensing at all. So it is a very reasonable goal for other states that still have “gun control” because they still have gun licenses.
So the Florida legislature should not let the gun controllers get away with this attack, but be ready to come back in their next regular session with *new* gun liberty laws.
I haven’t noticed a significant outflow of “African-Americans” from the state either as a result of the Zimmerman verdict or our refusal to alter SYG laws to make law-abiding citizens easier targets.
Damned liars.
Yes indeed!
I still wonder about the Scott proposed medicaid expansion.
It was so odd that I suspect that it was a gambit put forth to take away a re election issue.
He had to know it had no chance of passing.
Good! Very good!
Hearings were Plan-B for these “Dream Defenders”. They and their supporters are hoping for a “match for their kindling”

Can you imagine Nugent covering “Superstition”?
With the Florida Sheriff’s Association just voting to endorse the “Stand Your Ground” law, IN ITS PRESENT FORM, they (Sheriffs) may have persuaded some of the waffling legislators to not capitulate to the 33. I know I wrote to my legiscritter and asked her to vote against a special session...she apparently did!
