The son of Boston Red Sox announcer and former player Jerry Remy is accused of brutally stabbing to death his girlfriend just a day after the hulking former security guard was released without bail for assaulting her.
Jared Remy, 34, was arraigned today on murder and domestic assault charges in the gruesome slaying of his partner of seven years, Jennifer Martel, which took place at their Waltham, Massachusetts home in the presence of their four-year-old daughter.
Police arrived at the residence in the Windsor Village apartment complex at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday following multiple 911 calls. They found Martel, 27, bleeding in the fenced-in patio covered in stab wounds.

At least one neighbor, Benjamin Ray, in the apartment complex rushed to Martel’s aid and tried to pull Remy off her. But he was driven back when Remy waved his knife in Ray’s direction, McGovern said.
‘It’s not an easy thing to watch. It’s not an easy thing to try and stop,’ Ray told Boston.com. ‘I did what I could to stop it. And it wasn’t enough.’
Too bad Ben did not have a gun handy. Martel might be alive today if he did.

You are correct about “judges.” They’d crawl through broken-glass infused burning coals before they’d ever admit making a goof. They really hate losing on appeal. I like it when they get something remanded and ordered to overturn themselves.

Massachusetts makes it next to impossible to get a handgun. You have to deal with the police chief in the town or city you live in. They make it very difficult. This idiot Remy looks like he has the head of a pitbull from all those roids....I wonder if a bullet would even go through it.

Such is the society we live in. Every day it get’s worse in this country. Imagine running a hour news show from 2013 America in 1959 America....they would not believe this could or would be their nation 2 generations later.
Knowing this state as well as I do that claim sounds *very* plausible.
The question for the ages. Maybe it is the rush of excitement they get from dating a bad boy. Occasionally, by the time the rush ends, they are 35, with 2 or 3 kids, and are looking for a rescue husband. It doesn't always happen this way, but it does sometimes.

Apparently the DA’s office decided no bail was necessary. There’s questions if someone “called in a favor”. He’s had 15 previous arrests. And why the hell was she still with him after so many beatings?
He looks like a clean-shaven Bluto.
I always worry about guys whose neck is wider than their head.
I don’t imagine too many people will mess with him in prison.
