We should look at stories like this positively. We’ve won at the ballot box, the statehouse, and the Supreme Court on this issue, so the Dems are fighting a lost cause.

This was the United States Map early 2012. We can now add North Carolina to the colored mix...

Ninety-two-year-old Rosanell Eaton’s ability to vote is unharmed by North Carolina’s new voter id law

Judge shopping will change that.

So what is the liberal’s point here: blacks are incapable of obtaining an ID card? Isn’t that insulting?Miss Rosanell looks fabulous.

That’s exactly it!

I’ve had this discussion with leftists and they do think blacks, elderly, poor aren’t capable of obtaining a photo i.d

Their excuses were paternalistic & ridiculous. Basically they were ok with vote fraud.

after completing a literacy test that required her to recite the preamble to the Constitution

60's Voter: "Phew. That's a challenge. I'll get right on it, because the ability to vote is worth it!"

70's Voter: "I challenge your right to require me to educate myself!!"

90's Voter: "What's a Preamble?"

2000's Voter: "What's a Constitution?"

Thanks SeekAndFind.
The law, signed by Republican governor Pat McCrory a week ago, ends same-day voter registration, pre-registration of high-school students prior to their 18th birthday, and straight-ticket voting. It also reduces the number of days of early voting by a week, from 17 days to 10 (though early-voting hours and locations will be expanded, keeping the total number of hours available the same)... [and] requires voters to present a government-issued photo ID in order to vote.
