Dallas kids fear for mom's life if she's deported to Mexico .

EL PASO — Some immigrants fleeing violence in Mexico are being denied the right to make their case for asylum once they arrive at the border, according to human rights organizations.

"Denying immigrants expressing fear for their lives a credible or reasonable fear interview leaves the individual isolated from the court system and violates both international and domestic law," said Ruben Garcia, director of Annunciation House, an organization that runs two shelters for migrants.

"We are profoundly concerned about the denial of the rights of asylum seekers," he added.

The organization is following several cases. Among them: Rosa Hilda Carrera, 46, who is in an immigration detention center in El Paso.

"Right away I said I couldn’t return to Mexico," Carrera said, talking about a conversation she had with a Border Patrol agent after being arrested for crossing the border illegally in Laredo. "I said I was afraid because of what happened to my sons."

Her sons were murdered in Chihuahua, Mexico on April 13, 2012. Her son Abraham had moved to Mexico a year earlier. His brother Noe was deported.

They grew up in Dallas and came to the U.S. with their mother at the ages of 6 and 7. She arrived with a visa, but stayed after it expired.

Carrera spent 19 years living as an undocumented immigrant in Dallas, where she raised a family and only returned to Mexico to bury her two oldest sons — aged 26 and 27 — when they were gunned down in Chihuahua.

“Any mother would have done that,” said Gloria Reyes, Carrera's sister and a legal resident of the U.S.

she was arrested 3 times for trying to cross the border illegally. Carrera finally got a "credible fear" interview with an asylum officer while at the immigration detention center and "passed." But by then she was considered a felon, so she is no longer eligible for asylum. Not sure if quote from El Paso Times can be used...there she states.."My sons were 'executed' by people belonging to organized crime ... (they) were victims of the wave of violence that exists in my country of origin.please read full story at...http://www.elpasotimes.com/news/ci_23848755/mexico-asylum-petitioners-face-hurdles-advocates-allege

Case # 2..Don't Deport Fidela! Single Mother of 5 children, one suffers from severe autism Fidela is set to be deported on August 21, 2013! If she is deported, she will be separated from her 5 children. Fidela’s children, especially Erick, need her. Erick, a US citizen, suffers from severe autism and speech impediment, he needs his mom!

Fidela is a single mother and Erick and her other children’s safety depend on Fidela being able to stay in the United States to take care of them.

SIGN & MAKE A CALL

Call ICE - John Morton @ 202-732-3000 or 202-732-3100

Sample Script: “Hi, I’m calling to ask ICE stop Fidela Medel Lopez’ (A 200-970-777) deportation. She is the mother of 5 children, two of which are US citizens and one of those, Erick, is a special needs child. Erick is 11 years old but has the mental development of a four year old. ICE should not split this family apart. Fidela is low priority for deportation and Erick deserves a stable home alongside his mother. Deporting Fidela threatens Erick’s health and puts him directly in harm’s way. The Petition To President Obama:

I am writing to urge you to remove Fidela Medel Lopez’ (A# 200-970-777) order for Voluntary Departure. She has been living in the US for over 14 years. Fidela is a single mother of 5 children, one of whom suffers from severe autism and a speech impediment.

Fidela first came to the United States in 1999 with her children escape the abuse of her partner. She settled in Hendersonville, NC and immediately began working in agriculture. Fidela’s children have all grown up in the United States and have built their life here. Two of Fidela’s children are US Citizens. Her youngest son and US Citizen, Erick, is 11 years old and suffers from severe autism. He depends on Fidela to sustain him through several therapies to help his development and is also attending a special school. Erick suffers from weight issues as well and his doctor has instructed Fidela to monitor him closely.

On April 22, 2011 Fidela was stopped by local police and charged with a DWI. She was arrested and taken to Henderson County Jail. Fidela acknowledges she made a mistake and took measures to correct this wrong. However, Fidela remained in deportation proceedings and was given voluntary departure, as she believed there was no other alternative. Fidela is set to be deported on August 21, 2013. Fidela’s children, especially Erick, need her. It would seriously affect his health and progress to be separated from his mother. Erick and the other children’s safety depend on Fidela being able to stay in the United States to care for them as they have no other option except all returning to Mexico and be put in danger.

I urge you to remove Fidela Medel Lopez’ (A# 200-970-777) order for Voluntary Departure and immediately stop her deportation. Fidela is low-priority for deportation, according to the Morton Memo. Her deportation should be stopped immediately.

As far as I am concern..DWI should mean automatic deportation On April 22, 2011 Fidela was stopped by local police and charged with a DWI. She was arrested and taken to Henderson County Jail. Fidela acknowledges she made a mistake and took measures to correct this wrong. Right, her child's medical condition did not matter on the night she went out and got drunk and got behind the wheel of her car driving drunk and got pulled over..arrested..Fidela remained in deportation proceedings and was given voluntary departure, as she believed there was no other alternative.

There sure was no concern about her son's medical condition on her part as she was going out and getting drunk. It only became a concern once she got pulled over and got caught. What if she would of hit somebody and killed others from her drinking and driving .. drunk on our roads ? What about us Americans whose lives are put in danger by illegal aliens who keep drinking and driving and what about our fears ? What about when it comes time for the illegals to make any type of restitution for all the damage to the car they hit with no insurane, our budgets are being hit hard by drunken driving illegal aliens who pay nothing. I am sick and tried of our lives being put in danger by illegals who after getting very drunk decide to go ahead be driving on our roads. American we also claim fear of when the many, many illegal aliens who drink and drive. What about our fear of our children, women, men lives have been lost from illegal aliens who did not care about all the lives that wer being put in danger and caused to parish..Sorry from my end..NO PITY FOR DRUNK DRIVERS LEGAL OR ILLEGAL.

Why doesn’t she go to Cancun. I believe st much safer there, the beaches are nice, and think of the great jobs she’ll be able t find in the hospitality industry e cause she is bilingual. And, her kids are free to go there with her.

But express fear of having your children taken from you for homeschooling them in a foreign country, and you get the boot.

I was in Mexico in 2009 staying with Mexican families. Virtually everybody, even the poorest, living in fenced compounds with concertina wire. EVERYBODY fears for their lives. EVERYBODY. Sorry, that’s not an adequate reason. Besides, the word is out that all you have to say is you fear for your life and now you’re a refugee. I don’t buy it. (Incidentally, the answer to the fear is obvious. Arm the citizens. But if you kill somebody with your gun who walks into house with a machine gun and a mask, they arrest you first. The Mexican government is more afraid of armed citizens than armed crime lords.)

Under this theory, can people sue their employers for assigning them to a new city for work...like DC or Chicago?

Dallas kids fear for mom's life if she's deported to Mexico .

Yeah, right. Asylum; fear of death.
The magic words.

Funny thing is this woman was sent back three times and she survived every time.

Perverts and illiterate welfare-bound illegals know all the buttons to push. They are coached both by their own government, and by the mindless do-gooders in the U.S.

Why do the rest of us have to go along with that? We are supporting, with our tax dollars, both the do-gooders and the riff-raff transforming our society. Time to stop!

When the police catch a thief with ‘loot’ after robbing a home - the thief’s kids might not get new school clothing.

And exactly how is that my problem?

The leftwing media always portrays these cases like the individual in question is going to be shipped to a penal colony on Neptune, not their own sovereign nation in which they speak the language, know the customs, have access to radio, television, food, automobiles and all the other things society offers. Their crime and internicine narcotics war isn’t nor should it be my direct concern. Mexico needs to address Mexico’s problems, period, and quit using the US as it’s pressure relief valve.

I fear for my life every time I drive with millions of drunk, unlicensed illegal aliens on roadways paid for with my tax dollars.

Mexico is an anarchic pisshole so by all means come here flouting our laws and customs and making anarchy here. A Hispanic guy with a big mustachio got in the 10 times or less lane with about 30 items. I let it pass... the checkout dude said it was company policy to let them do it

On a different day if I was revved up I would have walked ahead of him and plopped my stuff on the counter ahead of him and told him-—what’s your problem buddy?

As it is Mr Mustachio dumbass wasted 5 minutes of my life

Tens of thousands of AMERICANS have been killed by illegals since September 11, 2001...I really don’t give a damn about their plight. Don’t care. Really.

Why is it you never see out of all these claims of allege asylum seekers from Mexico who fear they will be killed if returned to their home country ... Why are the same people whom landed here not demanding at the very least that the U.N. start an ongoing investigation of Mexico ? All I see is I have fear but not enough fear in me to call on the world to start coming down hard on Mexico .They never have any fear of Mexican drug cartels paying thousands of dollars to be smuggled them across the border. They do not fear hiring dangerous drug cartels to smuggle their young kids alone out of Latin American into America paying thousands of dollars for the drug cartels cservices. The very people for whom they claim they fear and at the same time have no problem with hiring dangerous drug cartels.
