Rumor has it that they are stripped down Chevy Volts. Government Motors is modifying them as snowmobiles as they can’t be sold as automobiles.

I've been doing a little digging. We're talking 50-100 miles per engagement - or more, but it's still under development. I had a chat with the local conservative radio talk show host this afternoon. He'd heard about that and we had quite some time joking about it.

But we've also had discussion about things like the War of 1812. This is the anniversary of when a bunch of drunken Nova Scotians sailed on down to Washington DC and burned down much of Washington and a whole bunch of the White House. They ran out of rum, and not liking corn whisky, said to perdition with it all and sailed on back to where the spirits were more to their taste.
