Forever 21 is taking some hits from customers after a leaked memo from the company to its employees detailed cuts in employee hours seemingly in response to Obamacare.
In the memo, Carla Macias, associate director of human resources at the company, wrote:
Company-wide, Forever 21 recently audited its staffing levels, staffing needs and payroll in conduction with reviewing its overall spending budget. As a result, we are reducing a number of full-time non-management positions.
Although the company released a statement on Facebook that explained "less than 1% of all U.S. store employees" would be affected, the announcement caused a firestorm.

They are a company I enjoy and I sent them an encouraging email to hang tough!!
So... This company is supposed to not make any changes. Get hosed by Obamacare. Go bankrupt. Have no employees, which means no jobs. That makes it OK to these wing-nut libs?
Don’t they know that the only valid reasons for even starting a company are to give people jobs and healthcare, and to pay taxes to the government?
What’s wrong with these capitalists who actually want to make a profit?
These protests are from the occupy crowd who from all appearances spend very little time in hair salons.
Never heard of Forever 21. Must be some Yuppie me-too type store.
