Word of advice: get on the BoD in some capacity, so you can keep some kind of reign on them, or they’ll run wild. I’m a vol Member-at-Large, w/ vote, and can help control the Condo Ass’n from that seat. That said, they’re all pretty level-headed and retirees, snowbirds, and not looking to screw anyone, but I’m not taking any chances.

Notify the local association of realtors, which has power to police and punish its own, then get with an attorney, and not the one who handled your closing.
