Answer my question. How does the exception for servicemembers apply to Cruz, who’s father never served and was not an American citizen when Cruz was born?
The point is that it is not an “exception”. It is the law.
Now explain why you said in #15 that anyone born outside of the United States (which includes service members) should not be eligible for the presidency.
Trashing Cruz's father, are we? Cruz's father rebelled against the Cuban dictatorship. That's not the same as serving in the US armed forces, but, when it comes to weighing cojones, it will suffice.
As far as citizenship, Cruz is a citizen by birth, and, therefore, Natural Born and Qualified.
