Judge scolds Dems for ignoring Constitution

A series of bills passed by Colorado Democrats in the state legislature hit a snag last week after a judge berated the lawmakers for ignoring the state’s constitution. “Writing an election law so clearly non-compliant with the state constitution,” Denver District Judge Robert McGahey said in a ruling, “I find that both sad and, frankly, shocking.” The judge’s rebuke was made in reference to a 126-page bill passed by the Democrats under the guise of “election reform,” but as the bill was being debated, it became apparent to some that the real purpose of the bill was to enable Democrats to win elections.

Some media outlets have attempted to excuse lawmakers for the contradiction by claiming the recall section is an obscure and seldom-used section of the constitution, so it is understandable Democratic lawmakers did not know it was in there.

Uh huh.
From the top down elected criminals ignore the Constitutions wholesale, and if the Manchurian Candidate gets away with it with impunity, and it works, why not go for it?
They don't even have to feign ignorance; it is a requirement for "progressive" candidates.

The West Coasters have colonized the Mountain states.

The long sordid history: First the west coast was invaded by the east, (50-60 years ago.) But there was plenty of room, and western types mind their own business. Then the first round evacuated to the inland west, (about 30-40 years ago.) The second round was the former easterners, now west coasters, (liberals,) following. It is the spread of the eastern liberal disease.

“Judge McGahey agreed, saying the constitution trumps the new election law, and the election could not be held by mail-in ballots.”

The judge is referring to the two recall elections next month for Gridon and Morse.

While nothing in politics is certain, the fact that voters actually have to show up at the polling place means these two are almost certainly out of office.

Ironically, Morse was the sponsor of this unconstitutional bill, Gridon the co-sponsor.
