As long as the subsidies for democratcare are voucher form and not cash payouts (which will never be used to buy insurance), nobody will get hooked. That is unless the vouchers get traded at a discount for cash on the street.

I can’t say I agree with Cruz’s tactics. If one house of Congress could refuse to fund a democratically passed law just because they felt like it, that could have long term repercussions. For example, if Piglosi decided to stop funding the war once she won the speakership in 2006. Republicans would rightfully be calling for her head. As long as Democrats controlled anything they could simply stonewall anything if this precedent is set.

The only way to get rid of Obamacare is to get a Republican Senate in 2014 and a Republican president in 2016. As Cruz says, Americans will get addicted, but they won’t be yet by 2016. If we lose in 2016, then it will be the law for good until the system collapses, if the country is even able to survive another Democrat president.

The left never surrenders, the left never stops agitating, there is no such thing as a “deadline” when they are trying to tear down civilization. Why do people on our side always come to a spot and throw up their hands and say “Well, that’s that. I tried, it’s the law and I will just shut up and accept it now”.

Then we wonder why we lose?

That's the leftist goal, to have so many people dependent on it so it will be impossible to scrap it.

There is a ton of fraud in private healthcare and Medicare - Medicaid. Just think how much fraud we will be paying for when Obamacare is fully implemented.

Charges rare in employee health care investigations

By Jo Ciavaglia Staff writer | Posted: Tuesday, August 20, 2013 1:00 pm

A Pennsylvania woman claimed her sick brother was her husband when she added him on her company’s health insurance plan. The insurer paid a quarter-million dollars in medical bills before the woman was arrested for fraud.

A Wildwood, N.J., man was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution in 2007 after admitting he kept his ex-wife on his employer health plan for at least a year after their divorce.

Now the Bucks County District Attorney and county controller are investigating allegations that government workers fraudulently added ineligible dependents to health benefits. DA David Heckler says once the probe is finished his office will release “everything but the names” of employees, unless criminal charges are filed.

Fraud experts say that it’s not unusual for workers to improperly add siblings, romantic partners, ex-spouses and grown children to their employer health plans, but rarely are criminal charges brought against the ones who do it.

Most states don’t consider health plan fraud a high priority, though it’s believed to be more common than other types of health fraud and costs businesses and workers who are stuck with higher premiums, experts said.

I doubt that many Americans who are used to seeing the doctor of their choice, picking the hospital for their care and having the ability to go to some top medical center for specialized treatment are going to be too happy with Obamacare. Primary care will be reduced to waiting in line at some clinic for a 10 minute visit with a nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant, waiting even longer to see a physician or having access to specialists and routinely being denied care even if it might be life saving.

Cruz identifies a very real possibility. Based upon what has happened as a result of LBJ's launching of Medicare & Medicaid in 1965. The result has been to explode the cost of health services by a staggering percentage, so that a great many older Americans have, indeed, become utterly dependent upon the Federal programs.

The situation is now worse than it was a decade ago, when I wrote this Chapter in the Debate Handbook: Medicare--Panacea or Death Potion?

It is tragic that some of the gutless wonders, supposedly on our side, will not stand up with Ted Cruz against even the most detestable forays in the War against the American heritage. The monstrosity--what else can you call something that has already created thousands upon thousands of pages of regulation that no one person will ever be able to fully grasp--to regiment our people in their most personal & intimate concerns? The devil's brew of the far Left must be faced. We dare not ignore it.

Cruz is the man to beat, judging from his reception in Iowa.

And the RINOs are divided between Jeb and Christie Kreme.

This is our chance. Let's not blow it.

Americans are already addicted, that is the reason we have Obama and the democrats in power.

Look what they’re doing now:

Did Ted Cruz, the Canadian, get the kind of healthcare he now scorns?

Eventually obamacare will become as enticing as going to the DMV, IRS office, or any other government agency. The rationing due to funding shortages will make the assembly line healthcare experience so unpleasant, intrusive and humiliating to consumers that they will avoid seeking medical assistance.
