Nope. The employees ARE going to get replaced, though. . .

Please walk out! Please! As soon as they do, advertise in the local schools.

I know an engineer who’s been working on one of these since 2006. He is sworn to secrecy on who their client is (though their spokesbabe has red hair).

All these years later and it’s still not ready for Prime Time (and/or this company fears the reprisals of the Obama Twittermobs)

And just think of the possible results, millions of people finding out that they can pack a lunch and save both time and money. The potential for at least short term business loss to Fast Food outlets resulting in reduced employee needs and smaller paychecks for these business wizards. To bad they can’t sue the union scum that are pushing this for their lost wages. I foresee an epic fail approaching.

If tens of millions of Americans find out that home cooked food tastes so much better, these people are in deep poop.

And if these jobs did pay $15 an hour, most of these people are not going to be working there because they aren’t worth that

I’ve gotten to where I can’t eat out anymore. Not because of the “healthiness” of the food, but I just can’t trust the people handling my food. If for any reason, one crazy employee can put crap in your food. And literally mean crap.

Since returning home to Idaho in May, I've had 3 full days lost to wretched food poisoning. In each case, the ingredient that nailed me was pork. It happened at two "5 star" barbecue restaurants and most recently at a Mongolian "serve yourself" barbecue. It's just not worth writhing in pain for 8 to 10 hours. My insides felt like I had been beaten across the gut with a baseball bat.

For the record, the food tasted fabulous all 3 times. The gastroenteritis struck 12 hours after eating.

Go to a fast food place that cooks your food in front of you. In n Out Burger comes to mind. Wendy’s is another.

Of course, that means you have to go inside, not the drive thru.

There are plenty of unemployed, dependable adults and retirees out there to work these jobs and they won’t have to work with these mouth-breathing cretions with an attitude.

They would never see anything close, first the unions pushing this want them to be members so subtract dues, the State and Fed are going to suck down more tax dollars, retail prices are going to go up and as you point out the one constant immutable result of these wage increases are less employees struggling under the pressure of higher work loads.

Labor Day isn’t until Monday Sept 2, 2013. Maybe it should be observed Aug 29th instead.

When I worked in FF we would joke about walking out and theorize how they’d handle it. Our theory was they just hire the every applicant that walked in the door until we were all replaced.

So if you’re looking for a job just walk right in after they walk out.

Didn’t they just try this last month? Must not have had many takers if they have to try again.

“I am going to eat fast food that day. I am going to Chik-Fil-A.”

That was my first thought - bet the workers at Chik-Fil-A will be staying on their jobs.

Fast food workers are a major element of Buckwheat’s army. They’ll team up with Homeland Homo security and fart out 9mm cop killer bullets at 1,000 yards and kill us all.

Oh, the horror.
