AN Oklahoma court has been told how one of the boys accused of murdering Melbourne baseballer Chris Lane danced and laughed as he was being taken into a police station to be charged.
James Edwards, 15, was treating the murder as a joke, District Attorney Jason Hicks told a hearing in the town of Duncan on Tuesday (Wednesday morning AEST).
Mr Hicks told the court that Edwards has previously been in contact with police, and that he "an attitude of total disregard for law enforcement" when he was being charged over Lane's death. "He thinks it's funny, and it's all a joke," Mr Hicks said.

Michael Jones, white, age 17, charged with driving the car and says he did not pull the trigger, contrary to other reports that say he admitted to pulling the trigger. He's the one who apparently gave a full statement and informed on the others.
Chauncey Luna, black, age 16. Sat in the back seat and allegedly fired the fatal shot.
James Edwards, black, age 15. Edwards allegedly sat in the front seat beside Jones. It appears he might have been along for the ride, except for the fact that he, along with Luna, is charged with first degree murder. IMHO it looks like Jones incriminated him as being one of the planners.
The shocking thing is that our old "friend" Shepard Smith reported on this on Fox News tonight without showing the pictures of any of the three suspects and with an interview of Jones' mother, thereby giving the false impression that all three of the suspects may be white, while two are actually black. Worst of all, Fox News actually has an article on its websiteshowing pictures of all three, here:

we have big problems in this country.....if adult blacks don't start reining in their young males, every single one of them will be in jail....
in the old days, the cops would pick up trouble maker kids and take them home and daddy and mommy would take care of the matter....teachers didn't take any lip ever, and the neighbors always ratted out to the parents if the kids were acting badly...
adults used to be united in getting kids to behave...
now, we can't discipline them, we can't yell at them, we can't rely on parents to "take care" of things....teachers are forbidden to even cast the evil eye at the little darlings...
its not profiling and its not overly aggressive cops or bad luck that so many young black men are in jail....they're actually doing horrible crimes...

Actually, that is exactly what racial profiling is. It is the effort by one or more races to demand that the statistics NOT BE USED even when they predict certain kinds of behavior.

They may think that they get juvenile detention since they are under age.
They may not realize that the DA can apply to have one or more of them tried as adults. If the judge agrees, they could be facing the Big House — McAlester, instead of the area community work center.

Yes, all 3 are black. One slightly lighter in colour than the other two, but all 3 are black. Only the poor dead guy is white.
