maybe there was a reason they killed all these things 100 yrs ago Top of the list of the enviro-marxists reasons for introducing the Canadian red wolf into Montana almost two decades ago was to drive the ranchers out of business. Outfitters and hunting guides too. To deprive hunters of wild meat to feed their families as well.
As with most hardcore leftists their stated objective (to restore the 'noble' wolf to Yellowstone Park and neighboring environs) was but a screen. Really they hoped to hurt resident working stiffs, families and businesses.
And they have.

Yep, along with coyotes, mountain lions and bears.
If you’re not at the top of the food chain, you’re inside it.

You know
Genesis 1
26 Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the [ak]sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
We are domain masters. Why else do we exist but to do his will.
