Billions of dollars in federal research grant money to tow the party line and keep the gravy train rolling. No conflict of interest there.

These "scientists" can pay the lease on their Audi A6 and McMansion near the University by doing real work. They would say the same thing if we cut off their taxpayer funding.

They are just objective scientists. They are doing this only out of there altruistic philanthropic concern for the wellbeing of their fellow man and our planet.

The whole thing does not even pass the laugh test. The idea that we can change the temperature on a tiny planet in the solar system is laughable.

I'm still waiting for one of them to explain how carbon dioxide, which plants need for photosynthesis, and use to produce oxygen, is a "greenhouse" gas. If it really is causing gloBULL warming, then I want them to explain how we humans are at fault, being as all industrial activity combined produces only about one half of one percent of the carbon produced on Earth per year (the rest of it being produced by nature itself).

Then I want them to reconcile the reports from the British Meteorological Office and other sources that show the Earth's average temperature hasn't increased one iota since 1997, and may even be on a slight downward trend.

I'm not holding my breath.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

The draft comes from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a body of several hundred scientists that won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007,...

This statement is so blatantly false that it seems to have been written by a not too bright 12-year-old with delusions.

For laughs, look up how the 90%, now 95%, 'certainty' figure was arrived at.

“Near Certainty”. In other words “we’re still guessing”.

When they’re ready to go for certain certainty, I’ll pay attention. Not believe, mind you, but pay attention.

human activity is the cause of most of the temperature increases of recent decades, and warns that sea levels could conceivably rise by more than three feet by the end of the century...

There are four serious problems with that statement.
First, the absolute statement is made based on computer simulations performed by academics known and proven to be dishonest manipulators of the input parameters.
Second, the "projections (guesses)" are always defined into the far future such as to make it impossible to demonstrate the incompetence of the process.
Third, the promoters of the sea level rise have revised the previous "certain" prediction of 20 feet (!).

Fourth, the fraudulent "scientists" fail to address and explain the much much hugher previous documented rises in sea level known to have occurred over known geologic history, before any possible contribution by "human activity."

Meanwhile, real scientists with a lifetime of achievement, are ignored.

So what's wrong with that picture?

i cite the fact 100 years ago all doctors believed the appendix was vestigial as well as the coccyx.

and how many times have they been certain eggs are bad, and then good.

now can we stop trying to say consensus equals genuine scientific proof, or do we have to wait 100 years for this to be debunked.

I think the liberal, fraudulent science Bullshit will be much higher than any rise in sea levels. A good pair of waders is in order, with a lot of air freshner too.

These same scientists get caught in bold face lies then just keep repeating them. They have no shame whatsoever. If they truly believed their own BS they’d be telling obama to park all the AF One aircraft and all the First Dog helicopters.

“Grant Junkie” is the co-author of this article. Is that real, or a joke name
- like Naughteous Maximus or Biggus Diccus?

“Near certainty” is just pulling a wish out of a dark and stinky place!

“A panel of international scientists met with Queen Isabella and told her that there is “near certainty” that Columbus will sail off the edge of the world if she funds his expedition”.

Expecting the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to change is to expect the leopard to change its spots, taint gonna happen!

The IPCC was set up by the UN and has become a stick by which the ‘Rich’ countries can be blackmailed into more funding of every other UN member to keep their oligarchies happy. If it weren’t climate change, it would be something else, the desire for free money is a constant!

Of course there’s global warming. Without it, BO will never be able to outlaw coal and bankrupt the country.

Funny how all of these things are coming out now and funny how they all support BO’s agenda.

Now funny - expected.
