To: Coldwater Creek
Did that with my oldest. She's in law school @ Lewis & Clark, Portland Oregon. My other two are different. We still home school them, but they go / went to grade school because they had a greater social need.

80% of what you learn comes from home regardless. There is no rule that says a family can't supplement their kid's education outside the classroom.

The three who have finished college did so with top honors. My third granddaughter was the top grad in the education school.

My son is an engineer, so every question asked was a lesson. What time is it Papa? Let me tell you how to build a clock....... My 13yo from memory draw every Continent, country, main cities and rivers. I give my DIL a lot of credit for the education of her children.
