PHOENIX - Authorities arrested four protesters who chained themselves to a gate outside an Immigration

With Video.. Authorities say the four immigration activists chained themselves to a vehicle-access gate leading into agency's Phoenix Field Office. Police say they were later released.

I assume they were released with no pending charges or court dates or nothing. Free to do whatever they want. You have to wonder on the bus what kind of criminals were they.. sex offenders,child molesters,etc,etc..that dreamers were demanding be released at once ??

They should have chained themselves to the front bumper of one of the prison buses.

It would have been neat to see Joe Arapaio show up, unhook them from the gate and reattach them to a 15 cast iron ball and put ‘em to work alongside the roads clearing brush.

Oh, heck. I assume that ICE and the Phoenix PD went to lengths to protect these individuals from arrest by Joe Arpaio’s MCSO. It would have been hilarious if he had gotten them.

Instead of quick release, he would have likely put them in with the general tent city jail population for a couple of months until their court hearing. Highly unlikely they would ever do such nonsense again.

Here they went and arrested and locked themselves up, saving ICE the trouble. Why not just put an agency padlock on their chains and leave them in detention where they chose to be?
