To: RightGeek; forgotten man

Okay, I haven’t been following this, so I needed to make some assumptions.

The article never mentioned party, so that tells me he’s a Leftist.

But I see Gloria Allred led the charge after him, so that makes me think he was a Republican.

Which is true?

I would label Filner as a communist. I think All-red and the “prgressives” want Filner out because he hurts their brand. They want to replace Filner with another “progressive who will move forward with the progressive agenda.” Filner probably would not have been elected last November without the votes of the 0bama voters. In a special election with lower voter turnout to replace Filner I think a Republican has a good chance of winning the election.
