SYRACUSE, N.Y. President Barack Obama has phoned a Georgia woman credited with helping prevent a school shooting to thank her for her actions.

No word (yet) on whether or not a call was made to the parents of Chris Lane, now that the White House has been made aware of the story.

Well the woman was black that is why he called her she is his kind of people and she votes for him.

I agree with you but one thing to think about - the woman had to be beyond thrilled that the POTUS called her. She was incredible.

I'm into my 70s now and a gun makes me feel safe when I have to go into thugland like the VA Hospital down in South Dallas. Which reminds me: why did they have to put it there of all places. Good patriots from wars past are surrounded by a jungle.

Well I see it begins. I told someone earlier tonight that while this woman did a brave, decent and good thing, she will be used by the left for their twisted purposes
#1 It will be harped on endlessly that the gunman was "talked" into surrender and so therefore no one needs guns, ever.. so on and so forth.
#2 The woman will be held up as an example of the majority of blacks, she will be used to try and convey that she is typical, it will be asserted that the recent assaults and murders by blacks of whites is not common; that they are all just hardworking decent folks, these stories of attacks by black thugs are just made up stories by racists etc.
Yes she did a good thing, the right thing, a brave thing and the left, scum that they are will use it for very wrong reasons.
