First, cover up that the perpetrators are black.
Second, when the cover is blown, announce it was a “random” attack with no racial motivation.
Then, we hear from the assailant’s mother, grandmother, cousin, whatever, who tells us the assailant was an aspiring athlete or musician, and was a good boy.
The next shoe to drop is usually blaming the gun, the NRA, or slavery, or Jim Crow.
