I find the rain so invigorating. I'm going to make some carrot cake jam to put up & some green chili pork for dinner.
Nana is discovering that recovery is slower than she’d like. We’re getting there, though.

Looks like we’re going to have catfish. Nana’s sister from E. Texas is here this week.

How's Nana progressing?
Very well, actually. I think she’s overdoing it, but she stops when she hurts and is recovering each time after a short nap; so maybe she is doing okay.
We went shopping in Costco yesterday before picking up her sister at the airport in Tucson, then we went to church this morning and to the Commissary this afternoon. That’s when she finally admitted that she needed to take a nap.
Her first doctor’s follow-up appointment is this Thursday; and I’m convinced she thinks she’s ready to go back to her desk job. I’m convinced he isn’t going to let her, but we’ll see.
