Typically about a 12lb trigger pull double action or 4lb single action. An 8 year old could certainly do it.

Do they shoot people execution style in GTA? I’m guessing they probably do.

Colt Detective Specials are single/double action revolvers.

He could easily have cocked the hammer by using both thumbs to do so, or he could have used both trigger fingers to pull the double action trigger. I suspect using both thumbs to cock the hammer first because it is easier.

8 year old boys can have considerable variety in size and strength.
