Next thing I know, here was a whole bunch of my campaign conservatives sittin in a public board meeting with me and my fellow board members and here they come up to the podium pleading for county taxpayer's dollars for some 501(c)3 NGO that babysits kids who run away from home temporarily!!!
All during the campaign they joined me in demands that these "do-gooder" groupies should NOT be suckin dollars from tax money that was taken from citizen/property owners by FORCE!!! Now here they were, joinin the chantin mob, wantin money that was supposed to be for water, roads, schools and especially public safety.
So I certainly understand your irritation and frustration. I just thought you were paintin all conservatives with that big broad brush you were swingin around. Sorry to irritate you somemore. I'll stop for now... so please keep the faith my FRiend.
