Ted Cruz is what we’ve been looking for -

You know he's the one when the media and the Marxists start trashing him this early.

“And you can even see Canada from here,” he said, alluding to Sarah Palin’s famous gaffe

The meme that doesn't die... she never said it

I like Cruz— He will be a great Attorney General but you CAN NOT be born out side of the US as a citizen of that country. His presidential aspirations are over.

Please point out the relevant part of the US Constitution that supports your opinion of the meaning of "Natural Born" citizenship requirements.

Lacking that, please point out the relevant law pass by the US Congress and signed by a US President that supports your opinion of the meaning of "Natural Born" citizenship requirements.

Lacking that, please point out the relevant US Supreme Court ruling that supports your opinion of the meaning of "Natural Born" citizenship requirements.

If you can't provide any of the above, you don't have a leg to stand on.

You see, the founders of this country (those guys who wrote the US Constitution) were really smart guys and with the exception of Slavery (for very real and well-stated reasons) covered everything that they could think of at the time in detail. I sincerely doubt that if they thought as you do on this subject, they would have overlooked this issue and not have left clear requirements/definition in the Constitution.

Does not seem very likely.

Politics is made up of cycles... the order can be screwed up but change is constant. These people in office that are there for personal reasons will always be blown with the wind. I can remember a time on CNN where a democrat would balk at being called a “liberal”. They hate being called that today... how “progressive” of them. One day when the pendulum swings back to the right... these “politicians” will be solid Conservatives... until the wind changes again. We need men and women that will stay the course and run a true helm during the height of the storm... not parasites seeking personal wealth and power.

Tina Fey....the one trick pony. Had 11 minutes of fame doing a half-a$$ed lying imitation of a true, straight arrow American patriot: Sarah Palin.

I’d put money down that he’ll be the nominee. He’s damn good.

Yes, he is. But we'll have to deal with all the birther silliness before he can get the nomination for either pres or veep.

He has to praise Rubio as it is not in his long term interest to cold-war the GOP establishment at this time. Too early and Cruz is giving the MSM an early bulls-eye so they could dig up dirt on him. Palin got the treatment in 2010.

“You know he’s the one when the media and the Marxists start trashing him this early.”

That’s right.

They sure have reason to worry when we have a candidate like Cruz.

What Palin DID say was that there is land in Alaska where you can stand and see Russia, that was not a “gaffe” as this idiot writer claims, it was a simple statement of fact. The, “I can see Russia from my backyard comment” came from Tina Fey of Saturday Night Live and it has been sold by the demons in the press as being Palin’s comment.

Exactly. I remember that Palin interview, but the low-info voters believe that Tina Fey's routine is what Palin actually said. I work with a lot of 20-something libs, and they also believed the false Palin quote.

I straightened them out on that. But they still believe in man-made global warming. *Sigh*

They’ll probably believe that right up until their feet freeze.
