Blessed Lord’s Day, dearest LLS!

You did pretty darn well...LOL...however, this morning was also partially dedicated to the mutterings of racist John Lewis, while he relived his version of MLK’s “I have a Dream” when Lewis was a mere 23 years old.

I’m shocked to say that I mostly agreed with Juan’s answer to the question, “how far have we come since MLK’s speech?” given that Juan sounded like BOR.

I do, Bray.

Man there’s a slew of activism brewing here in beautiful Sussex and I’m knee deep in it.

The stuff I’ve learned....well I’ve been involved. Scarier than hell.

Last week Fox News covered Common Core, God Bless...some lady espousing Common Core was demonstrating for the audience that if a child answers 3X4=11 he or she is not necessarily wrong.

So explained the useful idiot promoting this stuff, “if the child can explain why 3x4=11 then he or she might get full credit”.

Now Common Core has some book on the proposed reading list including one on child pedaphelia by Toni Morrison...Oprah’s buddy.

Folks do not dismiss me as crazy...many of you know me and I’m not.

Here in Delaware, with the help of Beau Biden, airlifted to Texas via Air Force II last week...or some such....they are going gangbusters with this Common Core.

So much I’ve learned and as I am always ahead of the curve, pay attention.

This Common Core will also remove all testing standards.

Daughter and I both begin fight back after Disney World. People protesting over over-passes here, big signs up and down highway.

Big movement going on to force this down our throats.

Kaitlyn will be home-schooled the very minute it is implemented.

Good morning dear friend,

Ahh yes... the race card... I guess that I have been trying to ignore their hate for the last few days and let point 4 pass right by me! Every now and again Juan lands on the right side of an argument... but then he will always be Juan. :-)

Glenn Beck's TV show also had an hour on it last Thursday. it was hosted by David Barton, who has been in this fight for years.

Another thing Common Core will do is eliminate learning handwriting, the writing of cursive. Barton pointed out this would make reading of our original Founding documents (before typewriters and computers) unreadable by most people in the future. It would also put most of any personal correspondence of previous years in the same boat, such as valuable old family letters and diaries.

My wife and I wrote for years while I was in Vietnam and while overseas. We didn't have the benefit of telephones, typewriters, computers, e-mail, or TV in those days, so what we have exists in our memories (which fade) and our many letters, which do not fade.

Now we realize those years of detailed personal letters are snapshots of a singular era and (for us) monumental experiences - a valuable and very personal view, a treasure of contemporary personal history lived and experienced. In the end, we think it is perhaps the most valuable thing we may be able to leave to our future family generations. But if these future generations are not able to read them, will they not be but useless trash to them?

For example, how would you value the on-the-spot daily War Diaries of your great-great-great grandfather from the Civil War and the letters with his far away wife which you just found in an old trunk in your attic? But if it were written in undecipherable code, would it not be a great loss both to you and him - as well as your decendents?.

Common Core is much more than "bad education". It is a malignant killer of the varied and magnificent wealth of human history, culture, and much that is worthwhile in human experience. It is a history and generation killer. It replaces that with the "official" view which is stunted, ideologically skewed, likely totalitarian. However, it is perfect for a control-freak society run by tyrants!

Which, of course, is the idea...

Wow. You are right on. I should have known the Freepers would know what’s going on.

God knows we got the IRS and the NSA and Benghazi but the creepiest most dangerous of all is this Common Core.

Big big goings on in Delaware over this.

easy welfare and freebies, no one has to work, especially if you have no skills, because you were told that learning is disrespectful to blacks and “acting” white. Drugs, out-of-wedlock births, no fathers, an anti-education bias and easy welfare has devastated blacks far worse than any Klansman could have.

That's why they call it the "Klan with a Tan" The NAACP (National Association for the Africanization of Colored People)

Now we have violent black on white crime and murder, what's next...Haitian necklacing and cannibalism?

i liked what Neal Boortz said, “when I hear someone identify himself as African American, I ask them what part of Africa they are from. that usually shuts them up.” ha.

I want to say “Be proud of your ancestors. They survived terrible conditions, and by doing so, gave you the legacy of being born American. They must have been very strong in character to sustain years of hardship. Would you rather have been born in Africa?”

OBAMA DELAYS KEYSTONE PIPELINE DECISION AGAIN TO 2014

Just build it all the way to ND, we could use it from there on down. It actually should go through Montana and Wyoming too, Nebraska doesn't have any oil anyway.

We could hook up the last few miles to Canada when a normal person gets back power in Washington.

Or, in addition to that, we could build a temporary "rail-car pipeline" where a half mile of flatbed rail-cars were placed across the Canadian border, on a side-track, with the wheels locked, and a temporary pipeline constructed on them.

>>The Associated Press said he was “the first major House figure to suggest impeaching George W. Bush,” arguing that the president “deliberately, systematically violated the law” in authorizing the National Security Agency to conduct wiretaps without a warrant. Lewis said, “He is not King, he is president.<<

If the same thing was said about Obama, Lewis would call you a racist.

Then let's do it!

The Kenyan Marxist “deliberately, systematically violated the law” in authorizing the National Security Agency to conduct wiretaps without a warrant...

He is not King, he is (arguably) a president.
