Perhaps, the fact that the Chinese gov’t murdered a couple hundred million of it’s citizens, has had a calming effect, on the current population. The prisoner organ transplants have also contributed, to a more compliant, yet somewhat- hairless society.

I would think that hair would be an early warning device for danger — especially the hair on the back of the neck.
