Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*...are you back among the living? Ready to tackle Monday? Hope so.

Sunny and bright here. Took a thumb drive to one of my Mom’s friends and showed her how to use it. Something horrible took over her computer and the black screen said she had to pay $300 or she would be reported to the police. She called the police and was told it had to be a virus. So far she lost everything and now has a new laptop (Windows 8 is HORRIBLE!!!!) and IF her friend, who thinks he can rescue some of the stuff from her old hard drive, CAN rescue her pictures, at the very least she can immediately copy them to the thumb drive.

Back among the living, thanks. I was supposed to go out for dinner last evening with Mrs. MacNessa and my sister and BIL. Was feeling absolutely putrid and had to call and cancel less than two hours before our reservations. I felt like I was coming down with something - hit the sack at 4:00 p.m. and didn't get up until 8:00 this morning.

Feeling somewhat better today but still not back up to 100%. We spent most of the day visiting John-Man at school. They've made him a Platoon Sergeant - we're very happy with the way he has stepped up to the plate.
