Tea party: Obamacare is now ‘BoehnerCare’ [Rally at Boehner’s Ohio office 8-28]

Tea party activists are planning to rally outside of House Speaker John A. Boehner’s Ohio office on Tuesday, telling the Republican speaker that if he doesn’t use this year’s spending fight to defund the health care law, it will hence be known to them as “BoehnerCare.”

“If he funds it, he will own it,” said Janet Porter, president of Faith2Action, one of the groups participating in the rally.

This is the dims bill. If it’s that bad ...and I believe it is. It will crash and burn on it’s own taking the dims with it.

Along with what's left of the American economy and individual liberty.

This fight is bigger than partisan politics, my friend.

Along with many of the congress critters, the crybaby traitor bonehead is acting like he’s scared to death of the obozo hussein’s Chicago’s mob buddies and apparently would prefer to be coated with tar and feathers and run out of town than to face Bruno.

if the repubs shut down the government they will get slaughtered in the PR battle. Say goodbye to the senate ...the house.

Are you just now tuning in to this issue?

The current conservative strategy is to fund everything but Obamacare in the upcoming CR, and announce that strategy loudly until everyone in the country hears it.

Need to call it BonerCare. The only pill they’ll pay for is Viagra.

Should have had Michele Bachmann as our Republican nominee. She was the only one fighting to get rid of it. Everyone ignored her and now everyone loses. Great job Republicans!

I can’t stand where we are today - Rino’s on one hand democrats on the other and [some galactically stupid (in a strategic sense)] conservatives fighting both with the only winner being democrats.

Bump that.

Problem is Obama has the media in his pocket. The’ll be showing little old ladies eating cat food....soldiers without ammo... deaf and blind kids getting kicked out of group homes....while the repubs will be tripping over their tounges splitting hairs. We’ll get killed. I know most of the flamethrowers here don’t care.....but they will when we lose the house.

So what do you propose Boehner & Co. do? Give Zero the funding for Obamacare and thereby enable the near-term catastrophe it will cause, while also giving it just enough strength to survive its initial birth pangs?

Understand that once a government program has a beneficiary class, it's nearly impossible to kill. That's exactly what will happen if the funding for Obamacare is allowed to be a part of the next CR.

In the long term, it doesn't matter which side of the political traitor class suffers for this monstrosity. It has to be killed for the sake of the country. In the short term, I think you overestimate the negative impacts to Republicans for mustering their courage and stopping this thing.

As I said before, they need to loudly and repeatedly announce to the American citizens that they're intentionally NOT funding Obamacare, but ARE funding the rest of the government. They need to then follow that with a statement that any gov't shutdown will be the sole choice of Obama, and no one else.

Let the MSM do their worst. They do it to our side all the time anyway. If they're going to demonize us, then let them do it because we're doing what's right for the country.

You keep ignoring the fact the GOP has done NOTHING to engage obama on kenyancare after three years. Just a few meaningless defund votes and that is all we’ve gotten out of them.

The fact is the kenyan sold the american people a false bill of goods when they pushed through obamacare. One whopper lie after another yet the GOP can’t be bothered to force the Dems to face their lies.

The beltway GOP has found and spent millions to push amnesty but not fight obamacare. What does that tell you? It tells me they are really not all that invested in repealing it. They are just fine keeping obamacare alive and as a campaign issue regardless of the harm to the country.

Well they have been around for about 10 years, bills it's self as a pro-life pro-family activist group.

http://f2a.org/

Interesting that this paper for the article chose a spokesperson for an org with out Tea Party in it's name to quote.

Looks like they have become part of the TPM, which is a good thing.

Did a search, lots of tea party groups are involved, hope they have a good turnout and a successful media covered event!

Really?

So will this scary ad have Boehner and the President sitting on couch in front of the White House together? Perhaps they can get Nancy to join them too?

Before you ROLL OVER you may want to make sure that you have flour, potato flakes, seasoned salt, and pepper in the mix. You would hate to be just another bland fried chicken.

I sort of remember a time when we all love Newt. Then he was in an ad with Pelosi. I remember when we all loved Colin Powell. Tough conservative he is.

Boehner and Obama have something in common which has become very obvious. They both hate Cnservatives.

Flour, eggs, milk? In the last 3 years, Boehner has rolled over more times then a croc with a gazelle in its teeth. Give me one reason why he won’t do it again?

Is Boehner really that soft and confused, or is he so compromised he’ll do anything Obama wants? Either way he is not fit for office.

"This is stupid. Now Boehner can come out with ads accusing the Tea Party of not wanting to give healthcare to 30 million Americans."

Won't happen. Boehner doesn't have the balls.

I thought the best term was, “Oboehnercare”. And yes, I believe, if the House funds it, they own it. Tough sh*t for you hardcore rah-rah Pubbies. Keep cheerleading for your elite - you’re accomplishing nothing.
