If you shoot someone in the back who is running away, you’ll probably be the one who’s in trouble.

Jurys are funny things. They have a way of not working out the way you expect. Ask the state of Florida which is now on the hook for $300,000 in legal defense fees since losing the Trayvon Martin jury trial.

No one said anything about juries. This is about not having the public pay for his needed medical care while waiting for the trial. The second they arrest him the county picks up the tab!
Imagine walking in to the emergency room to be told your kid was in an accident and a coma fir the past week and was listed as a john doe. the hospital was ready to eat the cost but now they find out your the parent and now you are the responsible party to pay the bill.

What's the one thing that they all have in common?
None of them have an IQ in the triple digits.

Too bad all of the feral thugs couldn’t be shot dead right then, and save civilians and authorities the bother of having to deal with them later.

Whens the last time you heard a black succeeding in school. Winning a math contest, spelling bee. Oh knock it off. You can see it on TV, the floor of the NYSE is filled with young people of all skin colors.
You think they "thugged" their way in there and forced Wall Street to give them a job?

Sorry, disagree. Threat's over. Any further shooting by the defender gets him in much trouble. He did the right thing.
