It’s a very sad state of affairs. The credibility of the US government has fallen so low that its Russian rivals seem more credible, and its respect for the rights of its citizens has deteriorated to such extent that whistleblowers take asylum in Russia.

I suspect the average FReeper (myself included) would vote for Putin over either Hillary! or NJFatboy if those were the 2016 nominees.
