Double edged sword. When the rule of law is overruled by judicial fiat everyones rear end is up for grabs. No. The ACLU cannot be entirely comfortable with this.
Agree. They've been working hard for a couple of generations to alter greatly the American justice system. And now that they're apparently succeeding, the Ack-Lews may live to regret greatly what they've wrought.

This so soon after the NewMexico supreme Court told Christian photographers they needed to compromise their religious beliefs—and agree to photo contracts with lesbians. There the supreme Court admitted that New Mexico didn’t recognize same sex marriage— and that this was a fraud but they sided with the lesbians anyway.
