The cheerleader uniforms may very well be vulgar — so why issue them?

Would make more sense to simply order new and less vulgar uniforms.

Hate to say, but I can understand this policy especially if the outfits are vulgar.

Vulgar is a strong word. So is ‘cracking down’. Recognizing a discrepancy between what is permissible on the playing field vs what is permissible in the classroom is a good thing. Do the swimmers need to wear their swimsuits in the hallway... speedos anyone? i don’t think so. Calling it vulgar is an emotional word meant to manipulate the conversation. It sounds to me like the school wanted to address the way in which the uniforms are not appropriate for the classroom. Good for them.

I saw the uniform. It’s NOT vulgar...not one bit...
