Yes. He’s right. Obama wants to support the “rebels” (aka, Al Qaeda) and this will do us no good.

We’ve got to think about what is important for the US. We can help mop up afterwards (with humanitarian relief), but we sure don’t need to get involved in this.

The only role the US military should play in this conflict is making sure that it doesn’t spread to neighboring countries and escalate. As long as it’s largely contained within Syria, let the warring factions sort it out among themselves.

We're broke. We can't afford to work for Al Qaeda ( which is what would be happening) and we can't afford to 'mop up' either. If folks in the ME want to be fools it's NOT our problem. If the United States stops running in with food and aid maybe these men will stay home and feed their families rather than constantly running off to play war.
