Republican U.S. Senate candidate Steve Lonegan drew fire from his Democratic opponent Cory Booker as well as the state's leading LGBT advocacy group for comments his detractors describe as "homophobic" and out of touch with New Jersey voters.
The issue of Booker's sexuality came up in a recent Washington Post profile on the Newark mayor. Asked by The Star-Ledger this week about the issue, Booker said he didn't intend to answer.

Obviously far more newsworthy than the fact that Newark has become the first city in NJ to REFUSE the Federal Government’s request to detain people accused of minor crimes who are also suspected of being in the country illegally.

Hey Corey, can you say McGreevey?
Booker/manning-2024!
Lonegan’s problems are not with DemocRats. Everybody knows where they stand.
No, his problems is the snake's den of RINOs in the New Jersey Republican Party. Right now, Booker enjoys the support of 92% of the state's DemocRats, while Lonegan only enjoys the support of 79% of the state's Republicans. They are somewhat equal among independents.
The craven, elitist bastards that make up the Jersey Rockefeller RINO wing would prefer to have a DemocRat win rather than support a conservative candidate. I'm talking Tom Kean Senior, Chrissy (”It's My Party Too”) Whitman, etc.
Yet when one of THEM manages to get nominated, they appear at our doors with their hands out saying we have to pull together to keep those evil DemocRats out of office.
If you live in New Jersey and you are conservative and you even THINK about voting for a RINO, you are out of your mind.
And the above figures show why. Taken from an article in New Jersey Politicker - the News Manifesto of the Elitist Leftwing Journalist in the Garden Garbage State.
