The state will probably end up paying his legal bills. Florida has a law which allows people acquitted of a crime to have their legal fees paid.

The state will probably end up paying his legal bills.

Unfortunately that won't happen.

They may pay part of it but only a small part.

His lawyer is only asking for a maximum of $300,000 out of a bill that exceeds a $million and of that they are likely to get less than $50,000 if that.

They are not asking for O'Mara's/West's lawyer services which are substantial since the state of Florida doesn't pay the lawyers' bills -- unless you're name is Ben Crump.
