Actually, Obama was being pressured by Cameron and Holland to act. He was leading from behind. I suspect Obama will back down and not act "unilaterally." He will point to the UK vote and recent remarks from France that they must determine who initiated the chemical attack.

He has a ready and waiting sycophant press with press stories of how great his statesmanship was. How he was able to resist the drum beat of war, didn't fall into the mistake the former president Bush did, etc. etc. The press will do interviews with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to prove it.
