I finally was able to listen to Jim late in the 8am hour. It sure sounded like he was reading FR! Our grandson didn't have a very good first day at school, LOL!
Wednesday our son and daughter in law went to the school and were given a pack of supplies and told to put them in their son's backpack. Sooo they did.
Yesterday I dropped them off and they had to go through a metal detector. No problem until a security guard held up a backpack and gruffly asked whose it was. Grandson said it was his and he and his parents were pulled aside and told there was a weapon in the backpack.
Turns out the school gave them a pair of safety scissors and told their son needed them for school so they put them in the backpack. That did not turn out well.
Meanwhile the boy lost his brand new Super Mario lunchbox. Oops. problems with the station. Back later.
LOL!! That’s funny about the scissors in the backpack! AND to lose his Super Mario Bros lunchbox! What a way to start the school year. I hope the rest of the year gets better. :-)
