The Kerry video will be streamed above during his remarks.
WASHINGTONSecretary of State John Kerry will make a statement at 12:30 p.m. ET on the situation in Syria, the State Department said, as the U.S. prepares for unilateral military action to punish the regime of Bashar al-Assad for its alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians.
Mr. Kerry will make the statement from the State Department. His remarks follow an abrupt decision by the U.K. not to participate in any military action in Syria and amid calls from members of the U.S. Congress for more information about how the U.S. plans to respond.

Read on another thread he used the phrase “my military”. That’ll be real popular.

He is talking about the International Community...etc...He hasn’t decided yet what he will do.
To: John W
The Link is about what John Kerry said.
Bit misleading!

Well lets see. Based on info garnered from some sites, depending
on what year a given Tomahawk was manufactured it would cost between 500k and 750k. So it looks like between 100 million and
150 million dollars will soon be pissed away. Not of course including the operations cost incurred by the Navy.

Your figure may be low,...on Kudlow I think,... someone calculated that current cost is 1.3 M.,p.Cited Raytheon figures in the calculation.
Son wasn't sure....it is a different program.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
No confusion required. The 1.3m represents current production.
Think back some twenty years plus as to the cost per unit General Dynamics asked for.
I should have added that the cost for some 200 units is based on the idea
that older generation BGM-109 would be used.
Obviously, as you state current unit cost, the total figure would go much higher.
